Streamer Fundraising Policy

We appreciate streamers who want to support our Cupburger and help us to raise funds. Cupburger is very important to us, so if you want to raise funds for us you need to make sure you understand and can meet these requirements.

Content guidelines

Fundraising activities must be safe and match our fund values:

No hate speech – Content cannot promote hatred or discrimination
No racist, ableist, sexist, transphobic or other discriminatory content – we are a diverse community and we have a zero tolerance policy for hatred
Safe content only – Avoid content that could cause harm to participants or viewers

You must comply with the terms of service of the platform you use (eg Twitch, YouTube):

All fundraising activities must comply with the terms of service of your streaming platform
Follow platform-specific rules regarding donations, sponsorships, and promotional content
Ensure proper disclosure of fundraising activities as required by platform policies

Compatibility with Cupburger

Fundraising activities should reflect the values of mutual aid and community support
Activities must not contradict or undermine the purpose of our mutual aid fund
All streamers wishing to fundraiser for us should confirm they’ve read our ‘about us??’ page

Our rights and responsibilities

We reserve the right to:

Decline funds raised through activities that do not align with our fund’s purpose
Request additional information about fundraising methods before accepting donations
Discontinue partnerships with streamers whose activities conflict with our values

We commit to:

Clearly communicate Cupburger’s mission and values
Provide feedback if concerns arise about fundraising activities
Support streamers with guidance on appropriate fundraising approaches
