“Hi I’m BlueGoo partially sighted part time streamer and volunteer Accessibility consultant.
I am looking to fund a Orcam Read 3 to allow me to read packaging properly such as ingredients and directions for use on a day to day basis. But also to allow me to do more outside activities that I used to do like museum trips and heritage sites. I used to love these as a kid but now about half way around I stop reading the information boards due to eye strain or I have to ask someone to read them to me. I would love to be able to explore these places without relying on friends and family exploring independently without getting a strain migraine .
Additionally due to a few incidents recently of people not looking where they are going and standing on my cane, as well as food delivery bikes hitting my cane I realise I don’t have a backup if mine gets broken or bent. So I am looking to fund a spare cane so that if / When this happens I can swap canes and continue my journey safely.
Any help to fund these are greatly apricated but never expected”
